Four Point Insurance Inspection

The Four point insurance inspection was created after hurricane Andrew struck Florida in 1992. This inspection is typically requested on behalf of the insurance companies and is usually a requirement for the insurer offering insurance to the new homeowner. Areas focused on are Electrical, Roofing, Plumbing and the HVAC systems for safety and serviceability. Our complete home inspection will include this inspection with proper paperwork if required.

Wind Mitigation Inspection

The wind mitigation inspection is a common type of inspection for homes situated in coastal areas that commonly experience heavy rains and high winds. This inspection verifies that certain components are in place to provide the necessary protection from these forces. In some cases this inspection could result in a discount in insurance premiums. This inspection is included in the complete home inspection with proper paperwork if required.

Roof Condition Certification

Roof condition certificates are typically requested by the insurance carrier to determine the remaining life of the roof as a system. We check for damage, active leaks, excessive wear and record any updates to the roof.
